Henrietta family helped by total stranger
A Henrietta family's prayers were answered tonight, and the angel was a total stranger.
The Nielson family desperately needed a wheelchair accessible van to transport their 7-year-old daughter.  Tonight they got one, free of charge.
The hero in this story is a very modest man from Avon named Jim Harrington.  His loved one, who was disabled and used the van, recently passed away.  Harrington was planning to sell the van for $8,000 but once he heard about Emma Nielson, Harrington says there was no question about what he'd do with the van.
At two-years-old, Emma fell out of her bed, and has needed a wheelchair to get around ever since.  The problem is, her parents couldn't afford a wheelchair accessible van. But tonight, they got one and Emma is overjoyed.

This is an Avon Lion we can all be very proud of. Please take the time to read the story and watch the accompanying video from WHEC.
